The Innernet – Edition 15
Living a New Season in an Old Rhythm
🌙 Opening Frequency
There are moments when life quietly lets us know:
Something has shifted.
A season has changed.
A new rhythm is required.
Because you have evolved.
Old rhythms, rituals, and reasoning
no longer hold sway in this season.
Letting go of the old rhythm
is the threshold to embracing what’s new.
A season that is both desirable and unknown.
A season full of potential and uncertainty.
A season that cannot fully blossom
inside an old rhythm.
So I invite you to take a breath with me.
Inhale—slow and steady, for six.
Breathe in the energy of this new season.
Exhale—longer than the inhale, for eight.
Breathe out the remnants of the old one.
Not loudly.
Not dramatically.
Just enough to feel the shift in your body.
🎭 Creative Wellness Corner
In my own life, I’ve noticed how easy it is to step into a new season
while still moving to an old, outdated rhythm.
There is heightened awareness.
A greater sense of clarity.
Brand-new thresholds.
And yet, the remnants of the past rhythm often appear without invitation—
the habits, relationships, and expectations
that no longer match the season I’m in.
When a season changes, the rhythm doesn’t automatically update overnight
like your iOS device.
There’s no grand announcement.
No magnificent display of fireworks.
Sometimes, updating from the old rhythm to the new one
feels more like untangling Christmas lights
that were carelessly tossed into a box.
It requires patience.
It takes presence.
And a willingness to slow down long enough
to see what’s actually knotted—and what’s ready to be released.
💓 Coherence Corner
Living a new season in an old rhythm can feel disorienting.
You know something has shifted,
but the world around you may still expect
the old version of you to show up—
to hold things together, smooth things over, keep the peace.
Here’s the truth I’m sitting with:
You don’t owe anyone access
to a version of you that no longer exists.
New seasons ask for:
New pacing.
New rhythms.
New ways of tending to yourself.
Coherence isn’t about forcing alignment.
It’s about letting your inner knowing lead—
even when the outer world hasn’t caught up yet.

This week, I received an unsolicited invitation
to an old version of me that no longer exists—
the version that overextended, overcommitted,
and overprotected without reciprocal care.
In that moment, I was reminded that I don’t have to accept any invitation that doesn’t align with the current version of me.
I realized that one of the most radical things
anyone in a new season can do is quietly refuse to move the way they used to.
For me, that meant:
Not fixing.
Not performing.
Not carrying what was never mine to carry.
In the old rhythm, I would have pushed—
But I chose to pause.
In the old rhythm, I would have overextended—
But I created a boundary.
In the old rhythm, I would have let empathy override my best interests—
But I practiced emotional intelligence and resilience.
In the old rhythm, I would have allowed what others wanted to matter more than what I needed—
But I collaborated with my inner knowing.
In the old rhythm, I would have explained myself to exhaustion—
But I chose calm, took a deep breath, and trusted that I understood.
I chose myself without explanation.
That, too, is movement.
Movement toward coherence.
Movement toward a new rhythm.
Movement that doesn’t need external approval or acceptance to be real.
🌿 Closing Frequency
If you’re in a season where the outer world
hasn’t quite caught up with your inner shift—
You’re not behind.
You’re recalibrating.
Let the rhythm change.
Let your nervous system catch up to your knowing.
Let the new season teach you how it wants to be lived.
And when unsolicited invitations
to older versions of you appear—
Stand firm in your inner knowing.
Ground yourself in your emotional resilience.
Create boundaries that protect who you are in this new season.
Let all the peace, presence, power, and passion
you have freely shared
return to you.
It’s your season to receive.
Breathe.
Listen.
Move gently.
And give yourself permission.
